Is Your Restaurant Paying Unneeded Credit Card Processing Fees? -- Part I

I am sure that you would agree that an important part of the success of a restaurant is the acceptance of all the major credit cards as an option for payment for your customers. Commonly, restaurants report that between 60% to as high as 90% of all their income derives with this payment.

As you know, with the acceptance of these cards there are fees charged from your provider for the processing, acceptance and depositing of these transactions into your business account. Do you understand what your actual charges are? Do you fully understand your merchant statements and all those other additional charges? Are your charges up to date as to what is happening in the industry of credit card processing or are you paying additional unneeded fees to your present provider?
