The Service Problem, continued...

Training. This is the song being belted out by owners, customers, and
even servers. Train the staff, teach them the professional ways to
serve a table, show them how awareness of a station and anticipation
of a guest's needs can make their work much easier. This is a logical
approach. Most fields of endeavor require training for any degree of
excellence to be seen. How can it not be the answer to the service
problem...and yet it most emphatically is not!
