Steak Of all the clichés so deeply entrenched in our popular speech, one of the most commonly spoken, and to my mind most annoying, has got to be: "you are what you eat." Knowing what my personal diet consists of, I don't appreciate the mental self image this truism evokes. And what does it say about us on a broader demographic scale, as Americans? Put simply, we are a nation of cows!
